The Thought of It

There are just some things that at the end of the day I just don't feel up to doing. Bathtime is one of those. Just the thought of it I dread. Grabbing four wriggly, squiggly kids and throwing them in the tub in shifts, two typically. Soaping them up soaping them down getting their hair wet and then shampooing and rinsing, this all just seems too much. I don't know why I feel this way because once I get them in the tub it is always pure fun. Sure there are water puddles on the floor, endless splashes, and
at least one person crying at some point because of something but...they are the happiest when in
the tub, they give the best smiles,
and I capture
the sweetest moments.

I to hate bath time. But I have tought my kids to shower so i don't have to help as much. So that part i love. I only have to help Cassi once in a while. Yeah for me.

I do this every single night. I do hate the mess of water puddles I have to clean up, but they do love it. So, at what age do kids stop bathing with eachother? brother and sister?!

I feel the same! Always a dread, but always a lot of fun. Bethanee and Gus take showers now, which is so nice. I usually have them take showers at night and give the boys baths in the morning or vice versa. That way I'm not doing 4 kids all at once, and there's no rush to get the boys out of the bath because their are still 2 more kids waiting for it.

Love the pictures. Bath time is such a relief at our house because I know bedtime is not far behind.

I'm with you and Beckie. I hate bathtime because it takes an enormous amount of coaxing to get them out and if that doesn't work they scream at me. It does however mean bedtime. I love bedtime. It's my favorite part of the day.
