Is it a real holiday?
Well it's debatable.
But I say it's a good time to celebrate.
And so we have an annual party.
Guess what?
It's tons of fun.

Cinco De Mayo is the biggest celebration for Mexico that Americans ever have. Being married to a Mexican... and spending 10 years living with the "family," I learned a lot about the culture. No one in Mexico celebrates Cinco De Mayo. It's just a huge party day here. That's not to say there's anything wrong with doing it. In fact, any day you can have fun while eating Mexican food is a good day in my book.
