Priorities People

While helping in Wyatt's Kindergarten class yesterday I was helping the kids with their journaling where they are asked to draw a picture and then write two sentences about it phonetically spelling out the words as best they can.

Problem: The misspelling of the word "we" where both sounds are phonetically audible.

Common spelling: Wii

Seriously people if your kids think that this is the spelling of one of the most common pronouns turn off the video games and try a little academic lesson in your home instead.

LOL!! I know it's not a laughing matter.. Adam has some major issues with his 11th grade honors English class. If it starts this early we are really in big trouble and Adam needs to find a new job now. Thanks for sharing! :)

Funny! I guess it goes to show what's on their mind...and just wait until they're old enough to have a cell phone, probably next year.

They're just practicing for when they can text in a few years! :)

Tyler actually asked for a cell phone this year! I looked at him like he was crazy and when asked who he would call anyway... he said he didn't know! :)
