It's Beginning to Look Like Christmas

So after an awesome trip to Texas for Thanksgiving, more on that later,
we got home to some cold temperatures and predictions of snow.
Our family loves the snow and so were hoping, with baited breath,
that the weathermen would be right.  And they were!
Sunday we got a couple of inches.
Then Tuesday we got a couple more, which cancelled school.
And what better way than to have a community sledding party, with an outdoor fire pit to warm up by and hot chocolate and cookies.
Not only is it beginning to feel like Christmas, but amidst the busyness of life
I am reminded of why I love my neighbors and our neighborhood.
Let's hope this lasts all winter long, because Saturday they are calling for snow again.
I'll take it!!!
